Bio —

Alexandria Lee Bevilacqua is a multidisciplinary, award-winning artist from Las Vegas, Nevada, currently based in Los Angeles. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (2009) and her Master of Fine Arts from Otis College of Art and Design (2025). Working across painting, video, performance, and installation, Bevilacqua’s practice explores states of consciousness, transformation, and the interplay between illusion and reality.

Her work has been exhibited in group shows throughout Los Angeles and Las Vegas, with pieces held in private collections nationwide. In addition to her visual art practice, Bevilacqua has an extensive background in performance, having appeared in film, dance, digital media, and theater, including The Blue Man Group Show.

Artist Statement —

I am a multidisciplinary artist working across film and video, performance, painting and drawing, and installation. My practice explores altered states of consciousness — the hypnotic, the dreamlike, and the psychic — as spaces of transformation and freedom. Growing up in Las Vegas shaped my fascination with the tension between illusion and revelation, where desire, addiction, and transcendence often blur into one another.

The female figure appears throughout my work as both subject and self, embodying the thresholds between control and surrender. I use psychedelic color, surreal environments, and symbols drawn from spiritualism and magic to evoke the shifting landscapes of the mind. Through these varied mediums, I create immersive worlds that mirror the inner states we move through — spaces that are at once seductive, unstable, and alive with the possibility of change.
